Blood test of igf-1

Hi,

I heard testing for igf-1 in the blood while taking peptides is not a reliable way to see how much HGH is being released. Is testing for igf-1 reliable when injecting pure HGH? If so, how lonng do you have to wait after starting HGH to test for igf-1 levels in the blood?

I don’t. So is testing for igf-1 more useful when using HGH rather than peptides?
