Locked Out of Old Account

So I don’t know if this is the place for this, but I hadn’t been on in awhile and I can’t access my old account where I actually had some posts. Now I look like some n00b desperate for gear or something lol. I don’t know how to message mods or nothing since the whole format here totally changed. My old account was The_DGB. Any and all help is much appreciated.

Same happened to me , tried the whole password reset never was sent a email , just has to make another acct.🤷‍♂️

We’re finding most of these to be that the emails entered aren’t what was signed up with on SST. Just an FYI. Maybe try any address you may have used.

A problem here is that the old forum did not require the email address to log in, making it very easy to forget what email was associated with the account. We could log into the old forum with our username, but can’t use our username for the password reset on the new forum. Given the nature of SST, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a fair number of accounts made using one-shot throwaway addresses.

@Supermanlet9100 We suspect the same thing. That’s the inherent risk of using a throwaway email, of course. It is a pain but a necessary evil for transitioning to the new software in a secure manner.
