Considering starting my first cycle early 2021....Looking for tips/advice/feedback

  • Finally decided to take the plunge. Was hoping to start it this year but plans changed due to where I was at that time and then cause of COVID 19. However, finally decided to not put it off any longer and hoping to get everything in order before starting my first cycle early - Jan/Feb - 2021.

    Am planning on doing a 15 week Test E @500mg cycle. So my goal with this post is to figure if I have everything in place for when I do put in an order and to make a check list of what I need to do pre, during and post cycle.

    Will be doing a blood test pre cycle to check my test levels.

    • What else should I be checking during this blood test?
    • Also do I just get it done by my doctor or should I look into a private lab? Should I also let me doc know that I will be hoping on steroids since I’ll need one during and post cycle.

    Now for the cycle.

    So I’ll need to stock up on syringes, etc. What else would I need so I do not have to go running around last minute?

    • So Test E @500mg/week. For an A.I - Arimidex. Any other option? Now do you wait to start an AI and watch for any sides or do you just start it during week 2/3.
    • Any recommendations for potential acne and other side effects? Accutane? Is it too harsh or does it have any side other side effects?
    • Will do bloods mid cycle to see if everything is going smoothly.
    • Am thinking of taking a low dose of Cialis since I’ve read that it helps with getting those pumps in the gym. Still debating this.
    • Unsure of using an oral like Dbol/Var to finish the cycle during the last 4-6 weeks for my first cycle. Should I just keep my first cycle simple and stick to Test E?
    • For PCT which one is less harsh - Clomid or Nolva. I’ve been reading Nolva is a lot better.
    • Post cycle bloods

    Have I missed anything here for pre/during/post cycle?

    How long should I wait before jumping on my 2nd cycle?

    What kind of lifestyle changes could I expect or be making so that I have an efficient and effective cycle?

    Am looking for pharma grade Test E and Anvar/Dbol if I use an oral. Any recommended sources that are not diluted or under dosed?

    Did I miss or skip anything or over looked something that is important?

    What would be a better diet - High Fat/High Protein and Low Carb or just High Carb/High Protein and Low Fat for the cycle?

    GET ALL YOUR PRE-CYCLE BLOODS FIRST !!! Please, Please, PLEASE
    Know where you are at. Get bloods every 6-8 weeks after(if you start).

    I ran ~400mg/week of test E my first cycle. Threw on 30lbs in 16 weeks. I did 16 weeks bc my bloods were on point. Ran AI 1mg of Arimidex after 8 weeks and that kept me right on the money for my E2 (30-40). Kept 20lbs solid after that. Dropped water weight. This was during Covid gym shutdown, I had 45-35-20 lb dumbells and a 6 pack of resistance bands. PRobably couldve packed it on with a real gym.

    Went to cruise after that at ~160mg/week kept me at 1000ng/dl total test (600-700 free). Legit TRT w/ prescription though (only for cruising), could get you in contact if interested.

    I really don’t think you need 500mg to get great results from first cycle. I got ripped apart here my fist cycle for not upping to 500mg but whatever, solid 20lbs in 16 weeks is legit. Can’t promise it’ll work for you but I had great results so far.

    Started TRT cruise July gonna start next blast in October through December. I am debating cycle off TRT with nolva & Clomid just to give my body a time to recover but also love the 1000+ test in my blood so… I feel like everyone should TRY cycling off at least once to know if it is or isn’t for you. Some hate it, some bounce back…

    BUT what the hell do I know, I’ve only been running test for like 8 months! That’s nothing compared to these guys…very knowledgeable guys on this, listen to them and READ OLD THREADS on here, there is SO MUCH you can and SHOULD learn.

    Have a plan! Diet, Workout, Sleep, and proposed cycle. Order ALL your stuff before don’t try to add on mid cycle or forget stuff. Have an AI on hand (whether you need it or not), have PCT (whether you need it or not), have HCG (even if you don’t plan on using it), Have an extra bottle of Test (you lose .1ml each pin), Have extra needles (know what kind you need), Know where you wanna pin and how… Have a plan and stick to it but be able to adjust as your goals do.

    Be determined and be regimented…this is your health you’re altering…some things are not reversible, you may never get back to where you were. There are trade offs to this route, make sure you’re willing to deal with those. And don’t be afraid to ask questions even the dumb ones you’ll get roasted for.

    I do think you need to dive into more research though. It took me ~2 years to commit and buy the stuff. And I still was learning a lot on here.

    Did you start your cycle before the lockdown or after? And you were still able to see amazing progress. That is awesome.

    Did you pin your glutes? Also what kind of diet were you bulking on?

    I jumped on freaking 2 weeks before they shut gyms down…

    I pin glutes

    I started at 3000 calories and added about 250 every 2 weeks as I grew and got hungrier.

    Ah. That must have sucked. You could have just stopped then at 2 weeks and you would not need any PCT

    I put on 30lb and kept 20lbs without injury and on a lower dose, it was worth staying on in my opinion.

  • so i personally wouldnt tell your doc unless theyre a “sports” doc, especially if your just running a basic cycle. if your in the states and have health and life insurance, your usage can effect that, if you disclose it.

    if you can afford it, id get a big pre panel done. basically the one that stan efferding suggests, just to see where your bassline is. then week 6-8 bloods for test, e2 etc. and finally if your going to pct off, a larger panel 6-8 weeks afterwards. but im kinda anal retentive when it comes to bloods.

    i prefer aromasin to adex. itll be more forgiving if you forget a dose. but i would only take it as needed, higher e2 will generally help you build muscle.

    to get the most out of your cycle, you really want to become a creature of habit and be consistent. if your not already, id start building eating, training and sleeping habits. imo its not a huge deal when just on test, but your dealing with super physiological levels that will effect the body over the long term, so you shouldnt waste the blast. but because its not a really harsh compound, i wouldnt worry too much.

    i think that any source on here is fairly vetted and will be fine when it comes to test e. its cheap and rarely faked or under dosed, and there are tons of bloods and lab tests on here.
