Anyone have experience with Test Propionate for TRT?

  • I’ve been using Test E for the longest time, around 25mg EOD

    Heard some reports that Test P provides a better libido for some people, due to the very short ester

    As well as less estrogen, as it doesn’t have time to convert, due to the short half life

    Should have some arriving soon, gonna give 15mg ED a try

    Anyone else prefer it to Test E or C?

  • I can’t explain why but I definitely feel better on prop but I know I can’t commit to pinning every day forever. Otherwise, yeah I’d stick to prop.

    Tried EOD or 3 times a week.

  • You can easily avoid the pain of ED pinning of prop by just subQing… The amount of oil you need to push if youre cruising and dosing daily makes subQ extremely viable and painless. I TRT with daily subQ test cyp, and one time I let myself run out and had some prop on hand. It worked just fine. Obviously the levels won’t be as consistent as Test C or E daily, but yes Test P ED subQ is very very easy and extremely viable. It also gives you the freedom to change up your regiment more quickly than say Enanthate or Cypionate due to the shorter half life.

    I have considered subq and I’ve been this close to giving it a try. I always talk myself out of it because I tend to get welts easily from oils but it’s only .1 mL/day. MAYBE 0.15/day but that’s getting pretty generous.

    I’ve got plenty of bloodwork from running test prop IM to compare so I should probably give it a try if only for that reason. And honestly, the scar tissue aspect is a real thing if I’m gonna do this for decades.

  • Few things. A lot of times prop has the opposite effect of what you are saying(ie lower e2 conversion). You can try it for yourself, and see how you respond, but it is not uncommon for people running prop on cycle to have issues managing e2.

    As far as the subq thing. It doesn’t even have to be sub-q. You can use a slin pin and go into the muscle(delt, glute, quad etc) as well. SubQ is fine, if you prefer it, however for me, I prefer IM with a slin pin. I don’t tolerate sub-q oil very well either.

    I think libido is a tricky thing. It can come and go for most people. You make a change, and it effects libido for a while, then can level off, etc… I personally would believe this is what people who switch to prop notice, but I don’t think it is something that will last.

    Try it for a while and see how you do, and how your levels are. Main thing IMO is not over using AI’s. Both on cycle and on your TRT/Cruise. People tend to take way too much of that shit. IMO
